Welcome to the 2008 model of TEXAS BAG LADY..... the 14th year.

Last year was a fun year - seeing old friends carrying purses that I made 10-12 years ago. It was like a family reunion where everyone got along.

This year, there will be a few less choices but some exciting designs. The Texas designs will be the "old standard" bluebonnet design and the cowgirl on both blue and khaki. Both are very popular.

There is a new butterfly this year that I think will be fun. In addition to the vibrant colors, I am going to use my ultraviolet thread again. It's such fun to watch the thread change color in the sunlight.

In addition to the dogwood, I am adding a pretty framed sunflower. It's a nice compliment to the dogwood.

We have new froggies - a water pond and lillypads make it a real different design.

For the winter season, I have a new poinsettia design and the snowmen may make a late season return.

So, I guess the theme for 2008 is to have some more fun - there's so much turmoil going on around us we need it.
